Workshops That Empower You
The workshops that I offer are influenced by my own psychotherapeutic training and my clinical experience in the NHS and health and social care. I now use the knowledge, skills and experience available to me as a way to strive to empower a group of participants in workshops. I would usually operate on the Hampshire boarders and West Sussex. The workshops are currently held at work premises with access for presentations. I would usually charge £70.00 plus travel expenses but this can be negotiated.
If you are interested or have any questions please feel free to contact me. I’ve made a list below of some of the workshops that I provide which may interest you. They are:
Stress in the Workplace. Stress can cause someone to become anxious and burnout, impacting their work performance and motivation in the workplace. This workshop involves an engaging presentation on stress with discussion points, reflective exercises with hypothetical stressful scenarios that are playful, and group feedback. The aim of the workshop is to inform participants about stress - including the health risks and develop coping strategies and self-awareness so they have an ability to respond to stress effectively.
Self-Care and Boundaries. Looking after ourselves before others can be an difficult, especially in the helping professions that I am familiar with in health and social care. This workshop offers a presentation and creative, reflective exercises to understand self-care and what boundaries are, how they work and the impact of when they get broken. The aim is that participants will have gained knowledge and self-awareness of practising self-care.
Active Listening Workshop. Active listening has become a popular term for how we communicate with others in an empathic, effective way. This workshop explores what this skill is and how it can be blocked from effective use. Participants are offered an informative presentation, given exercises which are playful and reflective and ending with a final group discussion. The aim of the workshop is that participants will have a greater understanding of active listening and be confident in practising this form of communication with their colleagues, customers or service-users.
